What's the approach like? In terms of time, uphillness, and roughness of terrain?

The goats will carry you up.

During the approach you are guaranteed to see many mountain goats so it is advised to leash one to carry you and your gear. Approach itself is not too far (30min) you do have to cross a river that used to have a metal bridge of some sort, but that no longer exists. When we did it (after a fair amount of rain) you could use the rocks sticking out of the water to cross and it was just a bit of a stretch. You go through various bogs and most pretty flat, until you reach the bouldering field which is enormous and that is very steep. Walk in definitely makes this crag, though lots of potential for new routing and climbing some class routes.

Thanks that's useful info. Somewhere I'm keen to go at some point.
