I love this old atmospheric photograph, it could almost be Holmes and Watson on the moor looking for that famous hound.

Perhaps we take our freedom to roam too much for granted these days. Throughout the 1920's and 30's it was was very difficult to get access to large parts of the Derbyshire moors and crags.
