Very nice Ian. Goes to show you don't need a full frame to capture the Milky Way. Congrats, I hope the article was useful!

Hi James,
Thanks very much for your comment and sharing the useful article, the 450 rule is particularly handy. This image is a 4 image (landscape) photo stitch as I have an 18-35mm kit lens and a 60d. A full frame camera and a wider angle lens would have made it quicker and easier to capture, but not needed as you said.
