Eric Bjornstad with Beckey did the First ascent of several desert towers one being the very famous Moses Tower. He wrote several superb guide books to the Colorado Plateau Backcountry,Utah. Without him desert climbing would have been off the map. He lived a long time in Moab and this week died there.
