Like climbing in a tumble drier full of sand! Equally all the grades at this crag are exceptionally stern.

The skies look really clear for a sandstorm - was it just the sand locally blowing around? Looks an amazing crag!

I think this was about 20 minutes before all hell broke loose. The storms in this country turn on in a matter of seconds. The guide says if you hear thunder you have 20 minutes to get out of Watervaal Boven. We gambled on the first day.......a bad bet.
