Setting out for the Striding edge / Swirral round with tops in cloud (weatherman lied!) a very brief few minutes of open views gave great views...before it closed back in for rest of day(s). Magnificent cloud patterns high up.
For info, Strinding ice free, Swirral definately winter, crampons and axe required (not shorts and trainers as witnessed at end of week!)
