magic woods,Avers,Switzerland Climbers: pascal büsser Camera used: nikon d70 Date taken: 2005
Although this photo is cr*p, there is a small detail not so obvious from this shot. The hold he is standing on is the only hold, basicaly you jump to this hold with both hands then walk up to a high smear for the right foot, now comes the tricky part, you have to dyno up and plant your left foot on the hold you were just holding,
then proceed to dyno further only from the left foot!!
This is not the original version ,which heel hooks the
hold with the left foot and then using two micro crimps
push up with your inevitably way to weak left leg!(7c+)
as seen on my other fotos.
The dynamic version can only be graded as "johnny dawes
would love it"!
Thought it felt quite hard static, tried about 8 times to rock over on to left foot and kept slowly peeling off backwards, will try this dynamic variation next time, it looks superb! :)
