If this was square format you could include a bit more mountain, as it looks too cropped for me.

Hi Sean, thanks for you detailed comment, I really appreciate it! The picture was taken with a 20mm lens, no cropping afterwards. A 20mm might give a feel of a crop in astrophotography, and I agree, the picture would benefit with a bit more mountain to even the composition.

Take 2 exposures at the time and join together in PS or similar. I do this quite a lot. An example of a vertical stitch to capture all the image here.../images/dbpage.html?id=269291
