Taken facing approx. SSW from the faint path after crossing north over the Y Llymllwyd ridge into Cwm-coch. This is the Eastern end of Creigiau Gleision and the start of the three main srambling routes, up the gully until a rock barrier is met. The faint path leads South to Llyn Idwal and North to the pass between Foel Goch and Mynydd Perfedd via Cwm Bual.
