Stephen Reid pulling over the crux of the infrequently-formed North Post (V, 5), Creag Meagaidh
Colin Wells - 13/Jul/20
Colin, did this Stephen Reid ever work as a geologist in Greenland? I worked there with someone of that name, who looked somewhat like this gentleman.

'This' Stephen Reid is the 'World famous (in Keswick)' proprietor of Needless Sport climbing equipment Emporium (in Keswick). As a matter of fact, he has indeed been to Greenland and touched rocks, but not in a professional capacity, so I suspect your Stephen Reid may have been a freaky doppelganger. (However, will drop Stephen a line to check whether he's been freelancing as a bogus geologist on the off-chance he has been leading double life all this time and get back to you...)

Thanks for the info. I've now done some googling and can see they are different people.
