Porters warming themselves round a campfire, Dhaulagiri region, Nepal. The very gentle Buddhist fellow on the left with beard carried a table and chairs over two 5000+ m glaciated passes - but never got to sit down at it himself of course. (We asked him not to carry them, but he insisted as he was afraid that he might get sacked off the team otherwise as carrying tables and chairs was his normal job. We couldn't persuade him otherwise and had to let him do it in the end...)
