Catholic priests named the range after salt, as it never occurred to them it was permanent snow in the desert. They are a surprising 3800m high though.

Thank you, the Utah desert is indeed stunning and the light is so good, you can take a point and shoot in any direction and it will be great! To be honest, the composition was done for me by the location, not much room to move around. Top of Sister Superior if you get a chance to go
