1st ascent team of Colin Read and Johnny Adams asked me to post some of their early photo's which I am happy to do.
The photo has camera shake due to Johnny shivering in the cold and very wet conditions! We all climbed in any weather, every weekend...we called it "character building." Colin is wearing socks over his rock shoes which helps in wet conditions.
The pair called this new route Bolshoi Corner 215ft HVS, 10th June 1973. It starts as for the Buttress Route.
The climb is not listed here but I did find it recorded in the 1976 Fell & Rock Journal.
