This looks awesome, although also hard for hvs?!
Is there a lot of unclimbed rock like this in shetland, and is it mostly solid (looks good here)?

There are some very improbable looking HS and VS routes at Eshaness and the situation is stunning. The rock varies, some lines are really sound, others require a great deal more care. The rock on this route is good. The corner on the left goes at VS, up the middle of the face right of Ringil goes at E1 and right of that up the arete and the large pale pocket at E1.
We were fortunate to have a friend taking some shots when we climbed and he has captured the situation brilliantly.
