Good effort! WI grade 'n'all eh?

Nah mate, that's a Scottish winter grade. 1 for mountain style danger thingymabobs and 5 for technical difficulty. Get it? It's my comment on the ridiculousness of the Scottish winter grading system where something that's difficult but still safe as houses gets a high 'mountain' grade just 'cos it's hard.... what the bloody hell is that all about anyway?

I agree. I seem to remember suggesting a change a few years ago but getting shot down for my efforts! The 'objective' side of the grade certainly does need a review, though I suggest a change would bruise too many egos... Who wants a 'I' rather than a 'V' eh?
