what's that bloody great big pole doing there ? New addition since 03

Hi Iceman, The pole was part of a glaciological survey - they were all over the Dome du Goutier in 2004 (I had an uncomfortable night out on the Dome in a whiteout/storm in '86 and I would have appreciated those handy navigational aids back then :-)
