where's the rope?

The rope came out for the rocky step to get up the Aiguille de Rochefort (in the backgound). Until then it's feasible to do without, although some places are VERY exposed. Not the thing to do if: a) it's windy; b) you ever trip over your crampons, or; c) the airiness sends you weak at the knee...

Amazing route though! Past the Rochefort summit, when we did it towards the Jorasses, the ride gets worse and very thin/cornicy!
