Although this is a nice piccy, I don't know why it is on what is essentially a mountaineering/climbing site. Surely photographs should have some relevance.

That's a good question. The Basler Jura is a beautiful climbing area, with many hills, trees, but also fields. In the background hidden by the rain clouds is Gempen, actually higher and hillier than both Longshaw and Mam Tor in last weeks top 10 photos!

A great shot, although sadly, yet again, a photo voted as No. 1 with alsmost no relevance to climbing/mountaineering whatsoever.

wow, stunning photo...I'd like a poster. It shows the beauty of the countryside by the crag, which is a lure for me. And don't forget non-climbing friends or family who may need some enticement.

Congratulations in bringing the full dimension of the climbing experience to this forum. This has everything to do with climbing, a 360 deg perspective that it often missed when you only look at the granite in front of you.
