Would be nicer still without the unnecessary copyright tag?
Jon Read - 04/May/08
True but it's a real pain in the a*s to see your images suddenly set as screen saver or wall paper on you friends computers and get no sort of credit for it. It's a shame to slap text on images I agree but unfortunately few people think twice about using others images for whatever purpose they like. Have you seen the copyright watermark on most of Gettyimages.com photos? mine is discreet in comparison.
Matt crawford - 04/May/08
Honestly, Matt....... it's not that great a photo. You might want to get over yourself a bit.
Martin Jones - 09/May/08
Martin at what point did I say I thought it was a great or even good photo? At least Jon Read who posted the first comment had some constructive criticism to offer, what is the point in your comment?
Matt crawford - 10/May/08
Matt, your clear implication is that you believe people are queueing up to rip off your photos. Really, based on this it's pretty unlikely to be the case. Sorry to be an @rse, but then you did start it...
Martin Jones - 19/May/08
No Martin that's not my implication what so ever, however I have had plenty of people using far worse quality images of mine than this without asking or giving me any credit.
At the end or the day it's up to the photographer if or how he/she protects their copyright, and I will continue to put water marks on images I post online.
P.S. Hope the tip was helpful I posted on your Chair Ladder photo, really I don't think there's need to call yourself an "idiot photographer".
Matt crawford - 20/May/08
Fair do's..... I think we both know you're better at this than me, in any case.
I think idiot photographer sums my abilities up pretty well, although I thank you for the help. Perhaps UKC have solved the problem for me now, anyway.
