Don't think so, but I did keep telling him to tuck it out of the way or take it off. =) Not really terrain where you need a leash!

we descended this route after the gervasutti couloir on the west face...my cousin dropped his camera down here...never to be seen again.

Nice picture. The avalanche cone at the bottom of the couloir is a tad worrying, perhaps.

It was bomber when we climbed it, but as soon as the sun hit the couloir (when we were on the ridge) things started to turn to mush. The descent was a slushfest!
