Are 3 really good problems on that boulder and quite a few people were having a go, hence the number of mats. Think the point in climbing is not to hurt yourself?

an explanation of why there are so many pads,
the pads belong to the locals, if you have been to magic woods you will know all about the sketchy walk ins. At least 3 or 4 pads are kept there constantly by the locals as its a place that stays dry most of the time unless a few weeks of rain. this is also home to at least 2 of the best problems i have tried, sofa surfer and down under.
