Best Climbing Experience
Too many to relate, being with special people in special places when the light and atmosphere is just right.

My first winter experience, swimming up Banana Gully on Y Garn in bendy boots,in strong winds and deep fresh snow - wading through the cornice at the top and the wind ripping my duvet hood off - think wow - winter stuff is better than rock climbing.

Climbing for the first time on the Main Wall routes at Lower Diabeg and realising that Gneiss and not Grit is Gods own rock.

Doing routes throughout the Sahara and Hoggar Mountains not knowing if they had been previously climbed.

So far this year, a mad, busy, happy multinational circus of climbers on Fabrikfossen - ice flying everywhere - but great fun. Also Trappefosse - atmospheric walk up the gorge, the route itself, steep sustained and varied and then the beautiful walk out through the snowy pinewoods to Krokan - what a day, my back is still suffering :o)

Favourite Climbing-Related Discussion Topic
News of winter conditions, bun-fights, gossip, politics, fluffiness, gear and technique discussions.
Oh and the fact that RT can often also be the font of all non-climbing related knowledge.

Interests Outside Climbing
Spending time with Liz & Chewwie, music, people, travel, environmental issues, nature spirituality, the arts, reading and writing, food, growing things organically, hanging out in cafes and renovating our Tardis of an old wooden shack in North Wales. I have recently re discovered mountainbiking and am having some wonderful days out on my Orange P7 with Chewwie loping alongside me (or behind on singletrack)

About My Photography
Trying for my gallery to be a little bit different, - dont want to duplicate the same, cliched old climbing and bouldering shots unless they are informative to others, or personally important.
