Mad About Mountains a long estabilished family run business started back in the 80’s. We opened our first store in a small village in the Yorkshire Dales and since those early days we have expanded and now run our Internet Business from a large warehouse, office and retail store complex that supports our existing web sites, Madaboutmountains.co.uk and Outdoors-online.uk.com. Mad About Mountains was born out of a love for the outdoors and all of our team are keen enthusiasts in a huge variety of different outdoor activities, ranging from Extreme Winter Climbing, Mountain Rescue Team Members, Explorers, Sport Climbers, Marathon Runners, Fell Runners, Hikers and Dog Walkers. This vast pool of expertise ensures that we can offer the very best advice and guidance. If we combine this with our exceptionally high standards in Customer Service, we believe that we offer not only the some of the best Brands available on the high street today but certainly the very best level of service. Our company is continuing to grow to provide even greater ranges and new stores. This coupled with our dedicated internet sales department set us firmly as the North’s premier independent outdoor retailer.
