I've been climbing since the age of ten; most of my experience outdoors came at a young age - leading and toproping in the Peak District to bouldering in Yosemite...

However after a run of hand/wrist injuries I took a few years break when first taking up Parkour - a similar discipline of movement which didn't put so much strain on my fingers.

I founded the first official Parkour Society in the UK (University of Lincoln Parkour Society); I was President for 2 years, turning the club into the quickest growing sports society at Lincoln.

I ran various projects across the midlands, and am now heading up Parkour Coaching at The Showroom, Lincoln - a new part Climbing Centre/part Conference Centre/part Youth Activities Facility.

I also work as a climbing instructor for the Showroom Climbing Centre, and over the last year have been very much getting back into my climbing; primarily indoors due to location, but every opportunity I can get I'm off up to the Peaks...

Ultimately, I see Parkour and Climbing as the same thing; they're both about 'seeing' a line and moving over it... Parkour incorporates many aspects of climbing, and certain Parkour techniques translate well onto the wall - as I progress and improve, I hope to merge the two even further...
