I love anything to do with the mountains but I'm a failed mountaineer. I once had grand ambitions but now resign myself to using Guides to drag me up the harder things in the Alps. Cosmiques Arete in winter, Tower Ridge, numerous stretched out routes on Skye or Ivano Di Bona Via Ferrata (with a great scree-running finish). Or perhaps a soggy but wonderful day on An Teallech.
