I have been climbing since i was a kid. First trees, then llangattock escarpement in south wales, then the welsh national climbing centre. I have never been particularly great, but have always enjoyed it. My main passion is winter. I have been skiing my whole life, and as have improved, so the pistes became less appealing, and the unknown realms beyond caught my eye. 4years on from my first venture outside of ski terrains, and i can't get enough of it. I will walk for miles, just because a gully caught my eye as fun to ski down. More recently i have started to look at winter mountaineering as its own sport, although it obviously helps me with my skills with ski mountaineering.Location
