Finger injury

I’ve climbed today and something has happened to the area near the a3 tendon on my middle finger. I never heard a pop or had any sudden pain. I finished a problem, looked at my hand and under the skin was a little black. It’s a little swollen. I can still make a fist. Can anyone shed any light on what this may be?
