Farewell hairy biker.

Really sad to read this news today. He seemed like a lovely guy, as does Si. Found them an engaging and likeable duo to watch. Their Planet Rock Sunday morning radio show was also enjoyable.

Not much of a television watcher, but I recognize the affability of the two bikers with food on their mind, and obviously their friendship. 

That is a really good obituary that reveals how sad this story is. Very sad, and a great loss. 

Really sad. A friend of mine went to school with him in Barrow, said he was a really nice guy, quiet and very creative.

I don't really do TV cookery shows but I like the Hairy Bikers, more for their personalities and the places they go than the food.

I met him, and Simon King in West Kirby last year, filming their latest series. Quite by chance. Nice guys, I wouldn't usually approach celebrities, but they were very amenable to a chat. And even a photo. Very sad to hear Dave Myers has passed.
