I don’t often watch comedy films, but just happened on this on Netflix. Started off a bit odd though not excessively but finished up being completely batty. Timothy Spall plays a leading role, which is often a good sign. Recommended.

I find Mr Spall annoying, and would tend to avoid films with him in. Thus I'm not sure whether to watch the new film about anonymous disparaging/abusive letter writing in a village in the south: Olivia Coleman is supposed to be really good in that film.

I kind of know what you mean - he tends to always play himself as a baffled unfortunate. Very different in this film, as it develops.

She is a great actor, but shes not that brilliant that we should give her credit for films she isn't even in.

She is in Wicked little letters, with Timothy Spall, I guess thats what you are refering to.
