Initially launched in Sheffield, then the South Bank, now in the West End, I recommend this production. It is especially meaningful and touching for any (older) Sheffield natives such as myself but also of much wider appeal judging by the audience response when we saw it.

It really is wonderful theatre, and the production is really quite clever. Hawley's songwriting is magical, as ever.

I love a musical and must admit to being quite sceptical about this but my sceptisism was unfounded. If you get the chance then gop see it, you won't regret it.
