Soon going on a bike tour down the Baltic coast. How easy is it to find camping gas in the region? Would a MSR stove running on petrol be a better choice?
I think some primus stuff is actually made in Estonia. That might be an indication. I never paid attention to gas canister availability when in that part of the world but given that it is not uncommon for people to drink cologne and pretty much anything with alcohol in it over there a multi fuel stove might be the way to go.
I doubt it would be a big problem - Estonian shops, at least in the Tallinn, are just like Finnish shops these days, so I bet you can buy them in the big supermarkets - but it might be worth asking on bike touring forum where people who have ridden that way might see it?
