Is the rockfax guide the only one worth considering for mallorca? Looking for Sport 5-7a; DWS <= 6b; Trad < 6a. Looking at http://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/books.html?id=7#c7, the only choice is Rockfax or Desnivel, and the Desnivel write up is quite negative:
> Comprehensive guide to (only) fully bolted sport routes. However, the lengths and route descriptions for each climb are missing but the photo topos are generally good enough. Grades appear to be on the difficult side. Covers 44 different 'sport' crags on the island and makes a good companion to the Rockfax guide.
In reply to humptydumpty: I would recommend the rock fax-even tho the desnivel version has a few more crags it has the feeling of being rushed to the publishers without being proof read. There are errors with the route description and the topos too. There are also wild errors with some grades.
This is just my opinion and I'm sure that someone will say the complete opposite in the next post...
