Morning,

Can anyone suggest a campsite with decent climbing within 30 mins drive that takes bookings? It would be for a (non-uni, all members are old and boring!) club meet so bookings are pretty essential to save turning up en masse and being turned away.

Would you be looking for specifically a campsite? Spirit of Adventure are an outdoor company based on Dartmoor and two of our sites are available for hire when not being used for residentials. 

We have Dewerstone Cottage, which is in the woods of The Dewerstone, and also within a 15/20 minute drive of other south dartmoor crags such as  Sheeps Tor. Plenty of bunkhouse style beds and comes with a kitchen, fireplace and drying room in case it gets cold & wet!

We also have Powdermills Bunkhouse just north of Two Bridges for a High Dartmoor meeting place, with plenty of crags within easy driving distance, also with kitchen and fireplace.

I've seen climbing clubs at Trevaylor camp site near St Just most times when I have been there.
