Does anyone have some useful links to online mapping for countries other than the UK (and better quality than Google Maps)?
Here are some I know about:
France:
http://www.geoportail.fr/
Iceland:
http://atlas.lmi.is/is50v/
Norway:
http://www.godtur.no/default.aspx?gui=1&lang=2
NZ:
http://www.topomap.co.nz/
but they are not that easy to find by searching!

Toerag:
They do, but it is mostly fairly low resolution stuff from one of the NASA shuttle surveys. Not bad for an overview, but not detailed enough for navigation really.

I can't see any contours on the main

site (am I being thick?). They are there on
http://www.opencyclemap.org/
but that is lacking a lot of information.
Some poking around led me to
http://www.toposm.com/us/
for the US and
http://www.wanderreitkarte.de/
which covers a big chunk of Central Europe (including Italy), the Balearics and Portugal.
