I'm looking for a new chalk bag which should have the following spec:
- able to be fixed to a harness (or otherwise portable on routes)
- have a fully-closable draw-string or equivalent
- have a zipped pocket for a key (not many chalk bags seem to have this feature nowadays)
- be able to take a new chalk ball and still close properly
- have a decent sized opening so you get your full hand in and squeeze a new chalk-ball onto your whole hand, not just your finger tips.
- be less than £20
I think you may just have yourself a deal. I see you're also Central Belt based so will mail you off-line for arrangements.
In reply to others:
Thanks for the suggestions and much as I'd like to help out Drew and his business, in this instance I'll have to pass. I saw him climb at Ratho once and he is, without doubt, one of the smoothest climbers I've ever seen - totally impressive.
In reply to Fraser:
i use a red chili one that has loops for attaching, a drawstring, an elastic loop for something, and a side zip that allows access between the bag lining and outer. Dunno if theres different size chalk balls but the drawstring on mine closes v. tight while theres 1 init.
