Just in conversation with the manager of the Manchester City Centre shop, who was filling in at the Climbing Centre shop, I mentioned that the velcro on my Red Chilli Spirit's wouldn't stick. Straight away he offered to send them back to Red Chilli, even though they were 12 months old and I hadn't even purchased them from Cotswold. Also, he wouldn't take any money for return postage to me in Sheffield.
The result was a credit for a new pair of shoes. As they didn't have my size I picked another type which were £10 cheaper. They offered to throw in a quickdraw but I purchased a Quadcam and got £10 knocked off.
Definately service above and beyond -- and not typical of some of the numpty "counter minders" who have grudgingly put down their climbing mag in order to take my money.
My faith in the youth of today is restored. Thanks Cotswold.
