I am very much considering buying the Osprey Kestrel 48 in black from Zolando.co.uk for £102 (with a unidays discount code).
Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy this bag? Is there any better bag in the same price range?
I'll be using it for single day hiking, multi day where I camp in the same place, and taking clothes to and from university (which'll take a second bag, possibly.)
Also, anybody who owns this bag, can you tell me it's shortest height? If I wanted to use the bag for flying, it's height would have to be less than 55cm, the Osprey website says that the bags maximum height is 72cm
