A garment might be designed superbly in the USA and made badly in Turkey. Or designed badly in the UK and made superbly in Vietnam.

I agree the durability is ambiguous - are you making a product out of tougher fabrics, or improving the build quality/design (which have various potential trade-offs for weight etc.).
