The compass housing has come away from its base plate in my Silva compass . Its held in place by a band of copper however it keeps popping out when i replace it . I am struggling finding a uk site for silva . I have had it over a year and i dont think the retailer will take it back ( no receipt )
Any suggestions ? Cheers Jono

You could buy a cheap tesco compass and put the silva unit in to the cheap base as most are the same size and have the same copper wire to hold it their.
