I'm looking for accommodation to sleep 6 people (2 couples and two "children") towards the end of February. It seems most static caravans are closed then. I've found a chalet at Braithwaite which sort of fits the bill:
Close to Keswick for the non-walkers (they can go shopping and eating), two pubs in the village for a well-earned pint (within walking distance).
Somwhere similar in Ambleside would also suit I guess.
Walking wise, I'm not fussed as we shall drive, but having a pub within walking distance for the evening is important!
Must also be warm for the non-campers/non walkers (my parents).
Any recommendations? I'm struggling, as I'd personally just stick a tent up!
hi martin . yes , sorry about that . last time we stayed there they had an apartment for 6 called mardale . dont seem to offer it now . mabye they have split it into 2 smaller apartment.
