just wandering as it seems fairly obvious, is there a direct pitch that joins the belay before the hand traverse pitch to the bottom of the 5B corner on the last pitch?
If not, anyone know why? i guess it has been looked at>?

In reply to boothy: If I remember correctly, the last pitch of Crosstie starts up that corner but avoids the ledge below the 5b corner on the direct - might be wrong. Anyway it's not hard and not as good quality as the hand traverse.
