I now have a family so need to insure myself. Trouble is when you say you are a climber they poo their pants and rack your premium right up. Can someone recommend a decent insurer? Cycling around London is way more dangerous than cragging but the bigger companies don't have a clue.

In reply to Ken Ross: I got a very good quote for mortgage cover fromdirect line, I had to fill in a climbing questionairre but as long as you don't do alpine / big mountain type stuff they seemed not to take any notice.
