I'm hoping to go to the states from late feb to early april and am planning to spend march in bishop.. the only problem is I'm going by myself and wont be able to rent a car.. too expensive and I'm skint....how easy is it to hitch to the happys, sads and buttermilks from the established campsites? anyone got any advice or tips?

In reply to steve honeyman: gettin to bishop isnt to bad, gettin around depends whos around california climbers are pretty nice people i found n will hitch and offer hitchs alot esp to climbers and walkers
