What are climbers making of the environmental message? Are attempts at educating climbers about impact working, or not?

Well, you could say that actions such as reapiring erosion around boulders is positive, and of direct benefit to climbers themselves, but erosion continues apace.Observation of bird bans too is generally good. Reactions against parking restrictions/charging however seem to indicate that as soon as personal convenience is threatened sustainability can take a back seat.

So yes and no really....as ever.
