Hi, I currently have a single DMM cirque and was thinking of buying another axe to accompany it on more technical routes. I have my eye on a DMM raptor, what's the concencuss on using these as a pair of axes? I'm never going to be doing vertical ice type stuff so will these fit the bill or am I better going for a pair of technical axes at a huge amount of extra cost?

It may (or may not) be of help.

Well I managed to bag this off EBay for £29 to accompany my DMM Cirque. What do you think, good combo for a good price? Or should I have looked elsewhere?

EBay item: 7218574997

Sorry but the site won't let me link directly

In reply to tchnorton: Tom, I've got my fingers crossed hoping that I'll have it by the weekend. Are you still coming? The conditions look promising.

In reply to Craig Waddell: Only if I can find someone to travel up with; my intended partner pulled out. Have posted the stuff to you.
