Trying to decide whether to climb during the day or evening tomorrow. Thought evening might be cooler, but will the midges be terrible? Anyone been out on the grit in the last couple of evenings and can report on the midge count?
Stanage, sunday, 7pm ish until 945. not too bad if you kept moving! In fact nowhere near as bad as they were at harpur hill and malham 2 and 3 weeks ago in the daytime.
Having said that I seem to have bites up both legs....
