The lecture was scheduled at 8.30 however it's just been brought forward to 6.30 for anyone who didn't know.

In reply to beermonkey: It's also a race day in York today (Saturday) and the last race is at 5:30. Traffic could well be a nightmare on A1036 for a while after that. Would probably be best to come in via another road.
