Anywhere in Keswick hire out winter boots, crampons, walking axes? I'm heading to the lakes just after Christmas and not sure of what the conditions will be but if theres enough snow then some proper winter walking will be on the cards.

Summitreks in Ambleside and Coniston hire out axes and crampons not sure about boots though have never asked.

I've hired axe and crampons from them a couple of times. You need to pay a deposit and also need a credit card as they take the credit card details for security purposes.
