I desperately want a climbing wall in my gym at my secondary school. I am a PE teacher at Hope Valley College, in the gorgeous peak district!! 15mins from Stannage!! We have a small budget and we would appreciate any one who can help us with advice, time, holds, designs, funding, donations and ideas or help. The kids are chomping for a climbing wall and it’s criminal to be in a fabulous setting and unable to offer the basics skills.

Whats the gym like? - has it an area where there is a spare space on a wall for bolt on holds - or is there anywhere where a wall can be constructed?!

We tried to get one at Lady Manners in the gym there about 15 years ago which came to nought - what I would do is check on the space availible and what the boss sez??! - I take it that they are cool for a climbing wall to be set up??

I remember what the gyms like now - small in my memory of playing 5 a side footy there!!
