"The great Gibraltar-like tower of rock known as the Penġn d'Ifach that overlooks the popular resort town of Calpe, has become well known to a wider climbing audience in the past ten years. Many who make a winter visit to the Costa Blanca call in to sample at least one of the traditional classics on this awesome piece of rock. The soaring south face, with its complex cave systems and wheeling, shrieking gulls weighs in at the nicely rounded figure of a thousand feet high"

There will be no plum picking going on today, we arrived yesterday evening, and it hasn't stopped raining - and this is REAL rain!
